With less than a month to go before year's end, 2013 United Way Blackhawk Region Campaign Chairman Tom Spilde with a reminder that's there's still time to do something special.
The goal for the 2013 United Way Blackhawk Region campaign is $2.8 million. This goal represents a strong commitment to helping families in the Blackhawk Region change their lives forever.
As the year 2013, and this year’s United Way campaign, draw to a close, there is still time for you to do something special.
When you choose to LIVE UNITED, your donation to the United Way will be invested in over 100 health and human services programs in Rock County, Wis. and northern Winnebago County, Ill. Last year, these programs provided services to nearly 112,000 people.
Your investment helps prepare youth to succeed in life and reach their full potential. Your investment helps families break the cycle of poverty and build sustaining self sufficiency. Your investment will enhance the health of families and support wellness.
If you have already made your pledge to this year’s United Way Blackhawk Region campaign we thank you for helping advance the common good. If you haven’t given, please make a pledge and invest in programs that will help change the lives of families by focusing on education, income and health; the building blocks for a good quality of life.
Give. Advocate. Volunteer, that’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.
